Home is Comfort

Home for many people is where they find solace and comfort. For me, my computer has become something of an extension of myself, in that it stores on it years of my life. It's a source of comfort and my own personality, since I built it myself. This can save anyone a huge amount of money and it isn't that difficult when using websites like Newegg.

The ramifications? I'm a computer nerd, and to be completely blunt- I'm proud of it. I would not be at home without my computer, and, as such, home is where my computer is.

  1. Building your own computer sounds like a pretty cool project. How long did it take you?

  2. I can relate to the attachment to a particular object as useful as a computer. I use mine to organize and coordinate my life. But to say that it makes your home is where you lose me. I'd like to know more about how your computer became so powerful that it not only helped life at home but actually made your home home.

  3. I like your perspective and idea on what home is for you. It is unique but fits you personally, making it more powerful. I like how you built your computer, and it shows that you got attached to it after spending time and effort on it. This is a refreshing outlook on what "home" means.

  4. How unique! I know what you mean when you say your computer is a "source of comfort." There are days when I just can't wait to come home at night and spend a few relaxing hours on my laptop!
